A Beautiful Spring Wedding on the Gower
Ciara and Steffan’s wedding at Parc le Breos on the Gower fell on an unusually warm and sunny day for March, and everyone made the most of it from the very start. Guests gathered outside, drinks in hand, with the kind of relaxed atmosphere that makes a wedding naturally unfold.
The morning preparations captured two very different but equally lovely sides of the day. The boys had the coolest place to get ready, a real cabin-in-the-woods vibe tucked away in the grounds. Relaxed, plenty of laughs, and a great way to start the morning. Meanwhile, the girls were getting ready in an elegant space filled with natural light and a wonderful family feel. Calm, supportive, and full of those quieter moments that often become some of the most meaningful photographs.
Everyone headed straight outside after the ceremony. Guests chatting on the lawn, enjoying the views across the Gower countryside, and Ciara and Steffan able to spend proper time with the people they’d brought together. These relaxed moments are always where the best photographs happen.
It was my first time at Parc le Breos but it is already one of my favourite venues on the Gower and a brilliant option for couples planning a relaxed wedding in South and West Wales. Surrounded by countryside and close to the coast, it’s perfect for short, natural portraits without taking couples away from their guests for long. We took a quick wander in the sunshine, kept things simple, and then headed back to the celebrations.
Ciara and Steffan’s day was relaxed, warm and full of genuine moments. A perfect spring wedding on the Gower and exactly the kind of wedding I love photographing across West Wales.
On the day polaroids
I love delivering polaroid prints on the day of the wedding and Steff and Ciara's reaction just sums up how well they go down!
